Mouse Meals, Episode 1

Today at 12pm Pacific (3pm Eastern), the first episode of my new show, Mouse Meals, will debut on Magic 24.7!

For those of you who haven't heard of this station yet, its a new Disney internet station that focuses a lot on Disneyland music, with a little of the World thrown in.  You can get more information by going to www.VacationSuperstation.com.

My show, Mouse Meals, is all about the food of Disney. From restaurants to recipe reviews and great Disney music, Mouse Meals has everything for the Disney fan with an appetite!

On this week's show, I talked about my first meal ever in Disneyland, a corn dog.  Here are some pictures from this surprisingly large meal.

The corn dog stand is to the right near the end of Main Street, but before the Hub. (P.S., thats the trash can that Marc Lorenzo and I ate on.)

You can get chips or apples with your meal.  Tell me that the corn dog does not look like a turkey leg sitting there! Its Huge!

Counting to the Magic: 38 Days

There are different sights, smells and sounds that, no matter where you find them, you are immediately transported to Disney and this sense of happiness flows over you! For me, that feeling comes when I hear Main Street Music.  I just cannot get enough of that music! It puts me right on Main Street, staring at the castle, friendly cast members waving, the bakery smell wafting out of the doors....Ok, how much longer til I am in Florida?!

Immigrant Swearing In at WDW

On July 3rd, over 1000 immigrants from around the world will become United States citizens just in time to celebrate the Fourth of July with us! This is a semi-regular occurrence in our country, but this one is extra special. Why? Because their ceremony is taking place on Main Street, USA in Walt Disney World, Florida! All of the future citizens will gather on Main Street and give their oath in front of the officials, Disney guests and Cinderella's Castle. After all of that excitement, they also get another special surprise! The newly sworn-in citizens will get a special preview of the New and Improved Hall of Presidents, which is scheduled to reopen after a long refurbishment period on July 4th.

I have recently had a friend and teacher of mine become a United States citizen and the excitement of the ceremony itself was almost too much for her. I cannot imagine the thrill that must come with not only becoming a citizen but at the Happiest Place on Earth!
