The Wonderful World of Color

This show gets its own special post because I think it is that amazing! I had heard this show was something to see and made sure it was on my "Must Do" list for my trip to California. I was certainly not disappointed, this show blew me away with its technical aspects, the clarity of the pictures, the gorgeous soundtrack and the overall presence of the show.  It is just mind-blowing and while the videos of it on Youtube are great, nothing can compare to seeing it in person.  And I Mean Nothing!!! Tears came to my eyes on a few occasions, so be warned!

I was lucky enough to see this show from 2 angles; from a basic front row seat and from the balcony of a Grand Villa in Disney's Grand Californian.  Below are the two videos for you to enjoy! Please let me know which you enjoy more!

Counting to the Magic: 8 Days

When I go to WDW, at least my last two visits, I tweet.....A LOT!!!!! I love having my technology on my vacation, being able to connect with friends and share my experiences with others.  I recently got a brand new technology toy and I can't wait to use it in WDW, a new Sony Handycam!! My parents have this camera and have loved it, so they bought it for me as a graduation present! This video camera is so smooth, I loved the video it took in Florida last year and how easy the video was to download and edit!  I am looking forward to using this to capture our vacation in a whole new way!

Here is a video shot with a similar camera that my parent's got last year

Not sure what Rope Drop is? Then read my article written for the Examiner called Disney Terminology Lesson: Part 2 and/or check out this awesome video of Magic Kingdom's Rope Drop from last August!

Counting to the Magic: 47 Days

"It's a 'Salute to All Nations, But Mostly America'. "

"Doesn't it look beautiful?"
"Yea, too bad they are gonna ruin it with a pig"

"It's a glorious 3 hour finale"
"You've got a minute and a half"

If you know where these quotes come from, then you have seen one of my favorite 3D shows in Walt Disney World, MuppetVision 3D! That is what I am excited for today, I just love watching this show!! So how do I get by when I am not in WDW and I want to see the show? I search the internet of course! Youtube is a great way to relive your vacations! Relive MuppetVision 3D's Preshow and the main show with these great videos!

A Look Into the Past

I was excited to see this story on AOL's main page, so I had to share it with all of you!  As most, if not all, of the major Disney fans know, there are youtube videos for almost every attraction in Walt Disney World and the other parks.  What you may not know is that there are videos of extinct attractions as well! AOL's Travel Blog wrote an article about some of the Walt Disney World Lost Attractions that have been captured and shared with all on youtube.  Some of these attractions include 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, Mission to Mars, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride and even a video taken at River Country!  Read the full AOL Article to find out more about these attractions and why they no longer exist in the parks and to view the videos.  Don't forget to check out some of the suggested videos that come up as well, there is a ride-through of the Tomorrowland Skyway among others!

Little Mermaid Virtual Ride-Through

Not sure how this has surfaced, but it was discovered by Chris Reid last week and talked about on his show today!  This video is a virtual ride-through of what the new Little Mermaid ride is going to be all about! Again, we don't know where this exactly came from and we are not sure how exactly accurate it is, but this video is just cool! Check it out and let us know what you think!

The Disney Christmas Parade in just over a minute!

In the past, I have posted these Tilt-Shift videos made by Disney Parks of a day in the parks.  This video is a bit special because it shows a specific day in Magic Kingdom, the day that the Christmas Day Parade was filmed a few weeks ago!  Watch this really cool video and tune into ABC tomorrow to watch the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade at regular speed!

A Unique Video to Share!

Let me tell you, I just LOVE getting emails from readers who have cool stories, pictures or videos to share!  Just last week, I received an email with a video that is just too awesome not to share! Dror from Israel sent me a video that their friend and friend's brother, Huge Disney fans, made of actual underwater lip-syncing of "Part of Your World" from The Little Mermaid! This took lots of effort and the fantastic results are worth every minute of preparation!  The girl playing Ariel, Shir, is quite good at swimming like a mermaid and at the end of the film you get a glimpse of how she was able to do that.

The 4 minute film took 2 days to shoot and was shot at Eylat's Princess Beach in Tel Aviv, Israel, which looks absolutely gorgeous from this film!!

If you have any comments you would like to leave the creators of the film, the actual youtube page for the video is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0iqz2Y5qUg

Enjoy!

View the Queue: Toy Story Mania

As I was editing some of my videos from my trip to Disney in August, I realized my dad took some nice footage of the Toy Story Mania queue. So I took the pieces of tape and edited them together to make what I am hoping to be the first in a series I am going to call View the Queue! I am going to make photo montages and videos of different queues throughout Walt Disney World and post them to share with everyone.  You get the details of standing in line without the hassle of having to actually stand in line! Feel free to send me feedback on what you think of the videos and look for more queues to be coming soon! Here's the video and some additional pictures from the queue. Enjoy!

For my family's trip to Walt Disney World last week, we had bought a brand new digital video camera and had a lot of fun taping lots of the Disney Magic! I am slowly working on editing the videos and will be adding them to my youtube channel. Below is the Soarin' video!

Muppet Hilarity

Ok, so I know sometimes I post some of the new Muppet youtube videos here on the site because they are just so darn funny, so I thought I would share some things that I found also hilarious by the Muppets. These are not on youtube however, but on their website, over at www.muppets.com. The comedy begins just as you enter the site. Aside from the hilarious intros that change every time you log onto the site, the first thing that pops up is the video screen that features hilarious videos of the muppets. Up right now are a series of videos of the Muppets in an elevator and wow are they funny!! You got everything from people singing and dancing in the elevator to a crazy gameshow and awkward conversations...its just awesome.

Once you close out of the videos, there are star doors for some of the big Muppet stars and inside are lots of fun stuff, including some more great videos. make sure to check out all of the Muppet's videos, they are just great. My personal favorites are the series of Impressions that Kermit does on his page...I was laughing my head off for a good few minutes watching them.

So if anyone is looking for something to pass the time on this Friday or any day, just head over to www.muppets.com and check out their site and videos and prepare to laugh!
